the cure's plainsong as done by yuppie flu
Lately I have been really really liking this cover of the Cure's Plainsong by the Italian band Yuppie Flu.
This one, originally from "Disintegration", the Cure's much heralded "best album ever!!", takes on a slightly less morose country tinged feel. Kind of unexpected, but it works really well.
Also check out their latest "Fragile Forest". It's really good and they are doing the pay what you like thing too.
