william, it really smells like teen spirit
The co workers have created an impromptu smiths / nirvana mashup via their respective computers. If they ever make an album it shall be called Nevermind the Strangeways. Currently, I don't know whether to be angsty or depressed.
Last week whilst driving, a centipede type thing was blown into my ear. I instantly was transported back to my 12th year viewing of the wrath of kahn where kirk and chekov were tortured via babelfish type things. This scene has haunted me ever since. Thankfully, the bug monster crawled out of my ear after rattling around my eardrum for a bit. It certainly made for an interesting intersection turn though.
Torch light parade traveled by our building this weekend. I wasn't here for the actual event, but was witness to the 4 am freaks who deemed it necessary to set up their chairs. One potbellied man in a SPAM shirt set up a clone of his living room on the sidewalk. The get up was complete with fake grass carpet, couch, coffee table, TV on a stand and a full sized refrigerator. Of course they left it all on the side walk after the parade and the city had to come clean everything up. It was also quite fun to see the horde of tow trucks clearing the road the night before. They made bank, yo!
I think that is all from my little world for a while.
